Welcome!
Thank you for visiting the Tau Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated website. We are located in the Fabulous Far Western Region. Chartered in 1991, we have been providing community outreach services through Alpha Kappa Alpha’s international targets and our chapter programs for 29 years.
We are a diverse group of nearly 60 women dedicated to the mission of our beloved sorority which is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of “Service to All Mankind."
Tau Beta Omega is committed to serving our surrounding communities by implementing the 2018 - 2022 Exemplifying Excellence through Sustainable Service program targets under the auspices of our current International President, Dr. Glenda Glover. If you are a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha in search of a chapter home, please consider visiting Tau Beta Omega Chapter. Our chapter meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month (except July and August) at Crenshaw United Methodist Church.
